Critically-acclaimed alternative rock band Young the Giant has announced plans for an extensive touring schedule extending into 2025, highlighted by the newly unveiled “In The Open 2025 Acoustic Tour.” This forthcoming series of performances is set to offer fans an intimate concert experience in venues across the country, presenting the band’s catalog in an acoustic setting.
The “In The Open 2025 Acoustic Tour”
The core of the band’s recent announcement centers on the “In The Open 2025 Acoustic Tour.” This nationwide run is scheduled to commence on August 15 at the iconic Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, HI. The inaugural performance will feature support from the acclaimed group Cold War Kids. The tour is slated to traverse the United States, culminating in a final performance on October 7 at the celebrated Red Rocks Amphitheatre. For the tour closer, Young the Giant will be joined by special guests Saint Motel.
Throughout the majority of the “In The Open” tour dates, Young the Giant will be supported by emerging artist Cassandra Coleman. Coleman is preparing for the release of her highly anticipated debut album, which was produced by the Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Jack Antonoff. Her debut recording is scheduled for release on June 6 via Warner Records.
Expanding Tour Itinerary
Beyond the dedicated acoustic tour, Young the Giant has outlined a busy schedule of live engagements. The band is confirmed for appearances at several upcoming music festivals, including the Let’s Go Music Festival and Summerfest. Additionally, they are set to join indie rock stalwarts The Lumineers for select shows in the United States this summer. Their international presence will also see them sharing stages, specifically joining British rock band Bloc Party for performances in Australia during the current summer season.
In a nod to their significant discography, Young the Giant has also planned two special album-anniversary shows. These performances will take place at the historic The Troubadour venue in Los Angeles, California. On September 4, the band will perform their self-titled debut album in its entirety. The following evening, September 5, they will celebrate their sophomore effort, performing the album “Mind Over Matter” from start to finish.
